Kicking off the 2010 CMS Expo, starting at 8:00 a.m., we'll get right down to business with our opening interactive panel discussion, comparing many of the top Content Management Systems in the world: "CMS Head-to-Head: How to Evaluate and Select The Right CMS For Your Business."

If you're a business decision-maker at any level - owner, manager or front-line user - this session will provide you with a clearer lens to help you make sound business decisions when it comes to evaluating and choosing the best tools in order to meet organizational objectives.

"When all you have is a hammer, everything begins to look like a nail."Abraham Maslow

The goal of CMS Head-To-Head is to help make sure that everything does not "begin to look like a nail." This session will kick off with Content Management Analyst Tony White, Founder of the vendor-neutral advisory firm of Ars Logica. He will unseal his much-anticipated exhaustive study, Ars Logica's Compass Guide to WCM. This soon-to-be published report is a comprehensive set of reports on 35-plus vendors, comparing many of the world's top CMSes, including Joomla, Drupal, Plone and WordPress - all featured CMSes at the 2010 CMS Expo.

Following Tony's initial report, we will open the session up to our distinguished panel of leaders in the CMS world. Confirmed to participate are Dries Buytaert, Founder of Drupal; Ryan Ozimek, Board Member of Joomla!'s Open Source Matters; and Alan Runyan, Co-Founder of Plone. We have also invited Matt Mullenweg, Founder of WordPress.

Whether you're coming to CMS Expo to learn more about the CMS you're already using, or you're interested in comparing the features and benefits of each CMS, "Head-to-Head"  will help you uncover the distinct points of difference between our featured CMSes in terms of their capabilities to deliver your particular business objectives.

This kick-off interactive panel session will take place in the Grand Ballroom before all CMS Expo participants - an excellent way to start CMS Expo going in the right direction!
